| Go to the police station and get copies of all the reports to that address within the last 6 months. They are public records so they will give you copies. Send copies to the LL along with a letter that says these tenants are disturbing your right to peaceful enjoyment of your premises and you want action taken immediately. Mail this by certified mail, return receipt requested, and keep copies of everything. If the LL doesn't take action after this, post back here.

| I currently live in an apartment complex in Raleigh NC. My lease clearly states that the complex doesn't put up with excessive noise, rude behaviors, guests basically living in the apartment, etc. My complex also had a 3 strikes your out policy. However, I have complained about 50 times about the tenant who lives above me for excessive noise, drunken underage behavior, guests staying for weeks, guests visiting wtihout the tenant, animal abuse, and childish behaviors. Everytime I am promised something will be done and nothing is ever done. I have called the police, filed written and verbal complaints, and I can get nothing in return. Should I get a lawyer?
