| Oh and my lease ended on Oct 31st 2006, I was renting month to month, I never renewed my lease nor signed any papers in regards to my lease.

| No, he sent me a letter stating that my lease would not be renewed effective ON OR BEFORE OCT 31, 2007. ON OR BEFORE means anytime from the time he sent me the notice up to OCT 31, 2007. I have already contacted the courts to determine if the letter is legit and what the court would consider ON OR BEFORE meant and they said the same thing I am saying, ON OR BEFORE OCT 31, means anytime up until OCT 31. The only reason he did not renew my lease was b/c the building inspector got involved in the home repairs and he was forced to do them. He didn't like the fact that I played hardball, however, I was tired of living without LOCKS on my windows and a leaking back porch that was on the verge of collapsing. Then I have to struggle to get the $ for another SD and find another place to move to b/c he is a slumlord. Then I have to be called a liar b/c he is mad, however,i have in writting the dates that all the repairs were supposed to be done and were not. I do not owe him for OCT rent, especially when he had someone else in before the end of the month and again in black and white he sent me a letter stating ON OR BEFORE OCT 31 did not say effective OCT 31. So again, what can I sue him for in regards to time missed from work and emotional distress?

| Your LL sent you a letter stating that your lease would not be renewed when it ended at the end of October. Your obligation for rent ran through the end of that month. If you chose to move out at the beginning of October and break your lease, the LL was right. You owed him for October's rent. You chose to move out a month early. He merely told you to be out at the end of Oct. Unless you paid him for October's rent, you can't sue him for anything.

| i have not received my SD back and moved out on OCT 1, 2007. LL sent me a notice in DEC in ref to a certified letter I sent stating I owed Oct rent. However per a letter from my LL stating your lease will not be renewed effective ON OR BEFORE OCT 31st. I did as he he requested. I need to know what I can SUE him for besides the SD. He sent me some text messages calling me a liar several times. I consider this emotional distress especially since it was when I was at work at the time. Please help going to file on Monday......
